Facilities Maintenance

Description:

• Routine maintenance of buildings and systems.
• Equipment and building repairs including grounds equipment, plumbing and basic electrical.
• Monitoring incoming maintenance requests, prioritizing and responding promptly.
• Performing preventative maintenance on HVAC equipment, monitoring HVAC systems in the building automation system, spotting and communicating potential problems.
• Coordinating with on site contractors such as electricians, HVAC repair, elevator technicians, fire alarms, etc.
• Responding to mission critical emergencies during the day and potentially after hours. This includes equipment related to press production and data center operation.
• Pick ups and deliveries as needed at off campus locations.
• Grounds work and snow removal


Requirements:

• In Office Position. 4.5 day regular work week. Ability to commute daily to local office is required.

Summary: The Facilities Maintenance position is responsible for performing routine maintenance on buildings and systems, as well as coordinating with on-site contractors and responding to emergencies. This is a full-time, in-office position with a 4.5 day work week. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to work independently and within a team, and have a stable work history.
