Airport Project Manager

AECOM is seeking an Airport Project Manager with flexible opportunities in office located in West Palm Beach. As an airport project manager specializing in airfield and landside planning and design, you will be involved with developing and managing construction of airport improvement projects for our airport clients.

Job Summary:

• Project management of planning and design team members, contractors, and sub-consultants for ongoing planning, design, and construction projects.

• Managing a wide array of aviation-related civil design, planning, construction support, and client management services for General Aviation and Commercial Air Service Airports.

• Involved from start to finish in the planning, design, and construction administration of airports, including grading, drainage, pavement design, specifications, and construction safety plans.

• Mentor and develop staff, provide leadership and an environment that encourages teamwork, initiative, and growth.

• Supervision, coordination, and production of several projects concurrently.

• Build and maintain client relationships.

• Coordination with clients, funding agencies, state aviation officials, FAA, and local permit Agencies.

Qualifications

Minimum:

• BS Civil Engineering or related field

• 4 years of airport engineering design or related experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education

Preferred :

• Experience with airport improvements from planning through the design and construction phase; and

• Proficient in FAA Advisory Circulars and Airport Design and Engineering Standards.

• Professional Engineering (PE) certification in Florida, or ability to gain reciprocity within 6 months

Offered compensation will be based on location and individual qualifications. The expected range is $100,000.00 - $150,000.00.
