Job description
The Business Development Manager will focus on the development and growth of the inside sales team. The manager will coach, train, and analyze data in positioning the team and tactics to meet overall company objectives.
Overview of Responsibilities:
Grow number of Accredited Businesses
Background in Salesforce or similar CRM software.
Ability to analyze sales performance metrics and make data-driven decisions.
Excellent negotiation skills with a track record of closing deals.
Demonstrated leadership abilities with a focus on team development.
Design and deliver training content.
Coach and develop team members.
Communicate professionally and effectively.
Design and run contests and incentives to drive performance.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Day-to-Day Expectations will include:
Managing a team of inside sales and customer experience specialists to ensure quality performance.
Evaluating performance and providing ongoing training with a people-first mindset to ensure career development.
Staying up to date with industry trends, product knowledge, and company offerings to effectively communicate with customers.
Deliver on Inside Sales Leadership Activities:
Leading huddles and team meetings
Call coaching sessions
Engagement activities
Monthly performance reviews
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Must have three years of experience as a Sales Leader. Proven track record as a manager overseeing and leading a team of inside sales reps or similar.
Excellent communication, sales, and customer service skills.
Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and manage a team.
Ethically solve problems with a strong work ethic.
Strong working knowledge of MS Office programs such as; Excel, Outlook, Word & PowerPoint.
