POSITION
Aquatic Program Aide, 35hrs/week, Monday-Friday

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Responsible for assisting occupational/physical and therapist assistants to provide rehabilitative and technical care to the patient under the direction of licensed personnel.
• Responsible for safely transporting patients to and from therapy sessions.  Responsible for safely assisting patients with ADL activities prior to and following sessions in the pool.
• Responsible for monitoring equipment and supplies.
• Work will be performed in an ethical and legal manner following organizational policies, processes, protocols and procedures.
• Responsible for quality service delivery and internal/external customer relations for Madonna as a whole, including upholding the mission and values for the department and facility.

  EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
• Must have high school level of knowledge with basic reading, writing and communication skills.
• CNA training preferred.
• If not CNA trained, will consider physical therapy or occupational therapy aide with one year experience in lieu of CNA training
• Aquatic experience desired.
• CPR for Health Care Provider/CPR for Professional Rescuer required at time of hire or within 30 days from date of hire.
• Incumbent must be 18 years of age or older.
