Duties And Responsibilities

1. Analyze & prepare Ag loan applications for loan committee.
2. Provide services, analysis, and consultation on an ongoing basis. Develop and maintain relationships.
3. Assist in insuring a high level of credit quality. Assist in insuring that the loan portfolio is in compliance with all bank and regulator policies and regulations.
4. Prepare Ag loan files and assist in insuring that all loan documents are properly prepared, loan files are kept current and relative, and appropriate information is forwarded as necessary.
5. Assist in developing strategies that maximize the growth, earnings, and efficiencies on a short (1 year) and long term (3-5 years) basis.
6. Conduct farm visits, appraisal, inspections for Ag customers as needed.
7. Exhibit professional behavior and promote positive working relationships.

Requirements

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Ag or related field
• 1-5 years direct experience in agriculture lending.
• Strong Ag background
• Ability to read, interpret, and understand financial information
• Strong credit skills
• Understanding of applicable laws/regulations/compliance
• Knowledge of computer software, including Microsoft Office Suite
• Ability to give support to multiple people
• Ability to relate to customers in a courteous and professional manner
• Professional image
• Ability to make sound, logical decisions and to organize, prioritize, and manage multiple projects
• Ability to produce accurate results, to work independently and be a self-starter
• Ability to travel; must possess a valid driver’s license
