This role leads a team focused on the vendor management lifecycle including procurement, vendor contracts and risk management. The ideal candidate will be a trusted business partner with the opportunity to drive impactful decision-making and contribute to the organization's mission, strategy, and overall success
What you'll do:
- Responsible for Vendor Management operations, including vendor renewals, request for proposals, vendor contract drafting/redlining, invoice to contract reconciliation, vendor risk assessments and vendor management reporting.
- Establish collaborative relationships with key internal and external stakeholders to develop, implement and optimize vendor management processes and polices.  Â
- Strategically lead the vendor partner governance process, to ensure appropriate business owner and vendor interactions to support business goals.  Â
- Responsible for designing and leading the vendor partner tier analysis, establishing vendor partner metrics, balancing vendor risk, and ensuring vendor value to the organization.  Â
- Leads and participates in vendor renewal process, contract negotiations, documentation, and creation of review cycles.  Â
- Participates in quarterly business reviews with top tier vendor partners evaluating vendor performance, identifying new capabilities and monitoring adherence to contractual obligations, capturing and acting upon discussions, issues, action items.  Â
- Advises on corrective action plans for vendors failing to meet contractual and performance obligations.  Â
- Responsible for designing, developing, and facilitating the RFP/RFI procurement processes from an enterprise perspective.  Â
- Manages the vendor risk assessment process working in conjunction with the Enterprise Risk and Security organizations. Â Â Â
- Provide leadership and oversee the vendor management team, while fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous learning.
- Manage team performance through regular, timely feedback as well as the formal performance review process, to ensure delivery of exceptional services and engagement, motivation, and team development.  Â
- Work collaboratively with all stakeholders to provide vendor partnership insights and support cross-functional initiatives.  Â
To be considered for this position, you must have:
- Bachelorâ??s Degree in Business Administration or similar field.
- 10+ years of procurement, contracting, or vendor management experience.
- Previous experience leading a team required.
- Preferred HealthCare experience.
- Experience with procurement & contracting.
- Experience collecting & analyzing data.
- Relationship Management experience.
