Steamfitter Mechanic - Journeyman, Apprentice, Helper - Neb City

Required:

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Requires a high degree of mechanical ability.
• Must possess a valid driver¿s license.
• Must have good communication.
• A high level of teamwork.
• Interpersonal skills.
• Must be available for overtime work as required.
• May be required to report to any job headquarters within the District.
• Must take callouts.

Desired:

• College degree in an applicable field, (mechanical or welding), completion of a related industrial apprenticeship/training, (mechanical or welding), program or equivalent work experience in industrial welding and mechanical maintenance preferred.
• Extensive experience in power plant maintenance work.
• Ability to work from blueprints and drawings.
• Valid asbestos certified worker.
• Welding certification is highly desirable.

Class B CDL is desirable.

This role will be filled commensurate on experience at the applicable (Journeyman, Apprentice, Helper) based on the candidate¿s knowledge and experience. The position description used in this posting is representative of an (Jouryneyman)
