Agency Phone Sales Supervisor

Physicians Mutual is hiring for a full time Agency Phone Sales Supervisor to oversee a team of Sales Agents/Representatives who assess customerâ??s needs and write applications via inbound and outbound calling programs.

What you get to do in this role:

• Lead by example to motivate, coach and encourage employees
• Supervises, trains and monitors agents to create a positive environment and meet department and individual goals
• Writes and delivers appraisals, as well as, initiates and reviews disciplinary actions
• Maintain employee records, production standards and quality statistics
• Provide input concerning completion of operation budget and coordinates Unit activities and calling programs
• Coordinates communication on processes and procedures to representatives and other members of management
• Assist customers who are making complex or unusual service requests

Required Qualifications:

• Associateâ??s degree OR equivalent experience is required.
• 1.5 to 3 yearsâ?? experience in a sales/service/call center environment.
• Demonstrates leadership ability to effectively supervise, mentor and evaluate employees in a consistent manner.
• Demonstrates excellent verbal/written and interpersonal skills in order to effectively communicate with internal and external customers.
• Demonstrates strong vocabulary and ability to explain processes and procedures in a logical manner.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Suite: Word, Excel and Outlook.
• Strong attention to detail and good decision-making skills.
• Ability to navigate multiple tasks in order to meet established deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications:

• 1 years of supervisory experience.
• State insurance license for Life & Health.
