Position Summary | This position will provide administrative and operational support for the UNMC OCE and the UNMC
Interprofessional Education (IPE) Program, including assuming responsibility for coordinating all logistical aspects of the UNMC IPE program curriculum and related initiatives. Collaborates, coordinates, communicates, and liaises with multiple programs/Colleges, consultants, and community partners, and communicates effectively with faculty, students, and staff to promote and coordinate Interprofessional Education to optimize resources by coordinating training/educational events, including arranging classrooms, labs, materials, resources, and personnel required to provide training and education. Responsible for a wide variety of administrative duties, including routine and nonroutine responsibilities of the daily operational and administrative aspects for the OCE and IPE, including coordinating educational events within UNMC’s campus and community sites; supporting the IPE Curriculum Committee; creating original and relevant content and maintaining presence on social media and web platforms; collecting data and reporting; monitoring expenses and oversight of the UNePlan as designated. This position is responsible for drafting correspondence, editing curricular materials, liaising with sites, updating websites and Canvas, generating student rosters, tracking attendance for the > 550 students, running evaluation reports, coordinating, and assuring faculty are available for teaching sessions, identifying expenses incurred for the program, and developing financial and activity reports for the Assistant Vice Chancellor and for the Academic Affairs IPE Director. The individual will be involved in scholarly activity by participating in the development of presentations for professional meetings. The individual must possess the ability to liaise with community members, work autonomously, when required, and use high level organizational, critical thinking, and decision-making skills. |
