Position Summary |
POSTING FOR UNMC EMPLOYEES ONLY Responsible for the management of the General Accounting Office, preparation of financial statements and the financial statements audit for UNMC. Additionally, the role will participate in the most complex general accounting projects and Assist the Assistant Vice Chancellor & Controller in the University’s accounting functions. These functions include establishing and maintaining ledgers, accounting principles, practices, internal controls, procedures, and adoption of new GASBs. The role will work closely with members of the campus community both internally and externally to Business and Finance with the goals of improving Internal Controls and increasing efficiency and effectiveness of business operations. |
