Position Summary | A full-time Postdoctoral Fellow position will be available starting June 1, 2025. Dr. Daisy Dai, Associate Dean for Research, is currently offering an NIH-funded postdoctoral position in big data analysis, substance use, neurocognition, and tobacco regulatory science. The position entails research on (1) analysis of big data using advanced statistical methods, (2) assessment of the neurocognitive effects of tobacco use, and (3) behavioral interventions for tobacco cessation. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in biostatistics, epidemiology, psychology, or cognitive neuroscience, with demonstrated success as a recent Ph.D. graduate with a track record in (1) statistical modeling, (2) tobacco regulatory science, or (3) neurocognition and brain development. The successful candidate will contribute to project planning and lead efforts related to codebook review, variable coding, statistical analyses, and manuscript writing. Strong writing skills are essential, along with demonstrated independent thinking and problem-solving abilities. Experience using large databases is preferred, and genetic data analysis skills are desirable. |
