VHS is looking for an Emergency Medicine Physician in El Paso, TX! Program Details: 34 ED Beds ABEM BC 56k volume EMR- Meditech Daily: 48h Doc/ 8h MLP, level 2 trauma, med-high acuity Busiest ED in the city EM residency program- must be comfortable with supervising residents 2.5-3.7 Patients Per Hour Floor codes- yes, Adm orders- yes Minimum commitment: 5 shifts/month Program Requirements: ACLS - Required regardless of certification ATLS - Must be able to prove provider was ATLS certified at least once VAR - Titer or Vaccine CHEST X-RAY - If PPD Positive, current within 5 years HBV-VACCINE - Titer or Vaccine MMR - Titer or Vaccine TDAP - Current within 10 years TB/PPD - Current within 12 months FLU SHOT - Current within 12 months No temp privs VHS is an Equal Opportunity Employer ( EEO )/Protected Veterans/Individuals with Disabilities/E-Verify Employer and welcomes all to apply
