Basic Qualifications:

• Proven expertise in implementing perimeter and internal firewalls, both physical and virtual.
• Extensive experience managing standardized baseline configurations across multiple firewalls.
• Expertise in evaluating firewall rules to maximize security while reducing redundancy.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Provide training and mentorship to team members.
• Support critical Continuity of Operations (COOP) efforts.
• Offer expert guidance on the management and operation of all Palo Alto devices.
• Ensure follow-up on all assigned tasks and deliverables.

Basic Requirements:

• TS/SCI with Poly
• Bachelor's Degree with 8-12 years of relevant experience; additional experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
• Hands-on experience with Cisco, Forcepoint, and Palo Alto firewalls in both engineering and operations roles.
• Strong understanding of firewall concepts, including misconfiguration identification, rule optimization, and enhancing firewall security posture.
• Proficient knowledge of the Cybersecurity Framework for effective cybersecurity practices.
• Self-motivated individual with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience in a high operational tempo environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with both enterprise and tactical networks.
• Familiarity with DISA and DoD networks.
• Expertise in vendor equipment.
• Proficient in networking and firewall-based cybersecurity technologies (5+ years).
• Experience in developing comprehensive cybersecurity analytics.
• Possession of advanced certifications such as SANS GIAC/GCIA/GCIH, CISSP, or CASP.
• Encourage a collaborative environment to promote a robust cybersecurity culture.

Pay Range: Pay Range $89,700.00 - $162,150.00
