Diamond Technology is a Technical Services company. We have a business client who is a large local public organization with an opening for the following position:
JOB TITLE: Microsoft Azure Engineer (Temp Contract)
DESIRED START DATE: Feb 2025
LOCATION: San Francisco Airport. Onsite/Offsite
DURATION: 1 to 3 years. 40 hours a week.
HOURLY RATE: DOE
Scope: Microsoft - Microsoft Azure, Microsoft Intune, Entra ID identity management, SAML integration, and the implementation of conditional authentication policies that minimize the number of MFA interactions required during the working day.
Duties & Deliverables: A. Establish processes and procedures for deployment and management of Entra ID roles, identity, and conditional access policies in alignment with new and evolving Azure services and industry best practice, including means to baseline expected Azure activity so that atypical actions can be flagged for renewal. B. Assisting the design and deployment of mobile device management (MDM) using Microsoft Intune for both Microsoft Windows 10, Windows 11, and Apple iOS devices. C. Implement password-reset self-service capabilities for on-premises Active Directory using Microsoft Azure and conditional MFA. D. Designing and implementing policies and procedures to facilitate on-boarding and off-boarding of Entra identities through the use of the SCIM protocol.
Minimum Qualifications for Microsoft Resource
MQ1: Must provide at least three (3) similar projects in the past five (5) years.
- Client name and type of organization (government, private corporation, etc.).
- Project start and end dates. MQ2 Proposed Candidates(s) and/or Resume Profile(s) must have a minimum of five (5) years of experience in technology with Microsoft. MQ3 Proposed Candidates(s) and/or Resume Profile(s) must have current Certifications in the technologies (i.e., Microsoft, et al.) and their products the client has implemented and be able to provide a copy of certifications. MQ4: Client will arrange for a hybrid schedule for this resource(s); however, final candidates must be able to work onsite when required. Proposed Hourly Pricing shall account for any travel expenses that may be incurred. MQ5: Candidates must be a citizen of the United States, Canada, United Kingdom, Australia, or New Zealand with ability to work in the United States. Each resident engineer must also pass a TSA threat-assessment before they begin work at the Airport.
Project Success Criteria Microsoft Entra ID identity management, SAML integration, and the implementation of conditional authentication policies that have minimized the number of MFA interactions required during the working day.
