Staff Accountant

Salary: $70,000 - $80,000 annually

We're seeking a motivated Staff Accountant to join our growing finance team. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented accounting professional who thrives on managing core accounting functions - especially general ledger maintenance, journal entries, and month-end close activities. The Staff Accountant help ensure accurate financial records and support operational efficiency in a fast-paced environment servicing complex transaction data and administrative needs.

• Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts, ensuring timely and accurate recording of financial transactions.

• Ensure debits and credits are recorded correctly and GL balances tie to subsidiary records.

• Assist with month-end and quarter-end close processes and account reconciliations.

• Prepare financial reports and analyses to support leadership and operational decision-making.

• Collaborate cross-functionally with operations, payroll, and billing teams to resolve discrepancies.

• Assist with internal controls, process documentation, and audit support when required.

• Identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiency within accounting workflows.

• 2+ years of experience as a Staff Accountant with a focus on general ledger, month-end close, and journal entries.

• Comfortable with debits and credits and basic accounting principles (GAAP).

• Proficiency in Excel; experience with accounting software or ERP systems preferred.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

• Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.
